doi moi pays tribute to the regional dishes found throughout Southeast Asia. The phrase doi moi means “new changes,” and is typically associated with renovation, renewal or reconstruction.
Over the next several months you, our faithful guests and new friends alike, will experience new changes in the menu, new changes in the staff and new changes in our operations…but no new changes to the doi moi name or the doi moi spirit.
doi moi owner, Jason Kuller, has partnered with SRG to complete the vision originally conceived by his brother, Mark Kuller, seven years ago. When Mark was tragically taken from us by cancer, far too soon, that vision of doi moi was never fully realized.
While this is happening…we ask for your patience… because things may get messy!
As we navigate through this concept renovation that will ultimately lead to a physical renovation in the late spring of this year…we invite you to come with us and see how we transform this potential jewel of restaurant into something that we know you will continue to love or fall in love with.
While this is happening, you can still look forward to exciting new dishes and consistent favorites, with flavors and spices inspired by our chefs’ travels, research and heritage.
Please stay tuned for more to come!
doi moi is good.
